No, nothing protrudes from the sensor. There is no probe or any submerged object in the tank. Nothing sticks out externally, so the sensor can be installed in tanks under driveways.

Yes, you can connect multiple transmitters to one receiver, e.g., if you have several tanks. You can also connect several transmitters to one app account, so you see data from all tanks in one place.

Choosing the Aquilo LTE sensor requires a subscription. This fee covers, among other things, the SIM card inside the sensor, which enables sending readings to the cloud.

After installing the sensor in the tank and/or connecting the receiver to power (Aquilo WIFI), you must configure them. Download the Aquilo mobile app or use the web app.

For the home Aquilo WIFI sensor, during setup, enter the WiFi network name and password the sensor will connect to.

For the professional Aquilo LTE sensor, simply scan the QR code on the device in the mobile app.

In the app, you can name your tank, set the liquid distance (cm) that the transmitter will treat as 100%, and configure notifications. If nothing is set, the sensor defaults to 30 cm as 100%. You don’t need to set the empty tank level (tank depth) because the sensor learns this after the first emptying.

We created the app so you have constant access to tank content info without needing to be home. The app shows:

• Current liquid level in the tank
• Approximate filling time (device forecasts based on filling rate)
• Notifications when tank level is critical
• History of measurements for comparison

The app notifies you about emptying time and can send an SMS to your waste disposal company.

You can select a contact and message text in the app. When the tank needs emptying, you get notified. From the app, tap the message icon to send the SMS—messages are not sent automatically.
